Flattered joined Tipser in 2019 to help work towards their goal of becoming a global sustainable brand. Through Tipser, Flattered scaled their business in Germany, which is now their biggest market. The Scandinavian shoe brand collaborated with German publishers like InStyle, Elle, and Freundin on performance based campaigns. Their products and brand perfectly matched what the audience of these publications wanted. Flattered had their story told by editors who delivered curated content commerce, developed to inspire readers to purchase.
Flattered ran campaigns and sold products through publishers’ embedded e-commerce stores. Between September 2020 to February 2021, they ran a campaign on the Lia Leather Boots – a winter top seller. The boots were featured as part of curated content articles on both InStyle and Freundin. The boots were also published on InStyle’s Instagram, where users could purchase the boots directly from the content through Instagram Shopping.
