Home by Sweden is a Swedish-based marketplace offering high-quality interior design products from a variety of brands. They focus on curating trending and seasonal products to cater to the modern consumer. In 2020, the new owners bought a bankrupt Home by Sweden with the plan to sell out all inventory to close the business. The results were better than expected and the owners decided to continue the running business.
Selling through Tipser’s network has given us the opportunity to have a close collaboration with Sweden’s largest newspapers and magazines. Because of this, we have been able to generate some great results together and continue to learn what works and what doesn’t. Tipser have opened up new sales channels that we otherwise would not have discovered.
Marie came in contact with Tipser shortly after they took over the business, and was introduced to the Swedish news media. With an opportunistic mindset, they decided to start a collaboration with Dagens Nyheter (DN), Sydsvenskan, SVD, Vi i Villa and Aftonbladet to run CPA-based campaigns. The details of the campaigns would vary depending on the magazines and how their business and promotional model was set up. For DN, Home by Sweden selected a range of products that were sold to their members and promoted in DN’s weekly newsletter. SVD combined both print and newsletter to promote the selected products, and Sydsvenskan included products in their monthly printed edition, sold exclusively to their members.
The results throughout the year were consistent. Each quarter proved an increase in sales with a spike in the last three months. Between October - December 2021, Home by Sweden got 3122 orders. For the full period, they got 7798 orders.
